Hand Stamped Sentiments...Christmas Card


Hi friends,
 
Just popping in to share a card for this week's Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge.  I immediately thought of Christmas lights.  I guess because I'm beginning to see them around my neighborhood (a bit early since we haven't had Thanksgiving yet) but, oh well!

I don't have a lot of Christmas stamps, but I do have Cricut Cartridges that have Christmas images.  I pulled out my Christmas Cheer Cricut Cartridge for the bright Christmas lights.

SIP#17...Floral Theme

I created a very simple birthday card, using a stamp I haven't used in awhile.  It's by Penny Black called Charming.  I did, however, mask off a flower because it was a bit too long.

I wanted to use the leaves from the Stippled Blossoms Stamp Set, but I realized I don't have gold ink.  I think I need to stop by my craft store and get some!  :)  I did find some gold leaves in my stash that worked perfect for my card.

The Card Concept...Happy Birthday, Owl

Global Design Project... Baby Girl Card

Just popping in to share the card I made for this week's Global Design Project - it's all about babies!   I've been on a roll using my Cricut Expression for a lot of different projects, so of course, I wanted to create a simple baby card.  I used the Baby Shower Cricut Cartridge for the hot air balloon, and the Hello Kitty Cricut Cartridge for the clouds.

The Male Room...Mr. Banana

Hi everyone,
 
I'm playing on a new-to-me challenge called The Male Room.  We were asked to create a project using  fruit.  It literally took me about a day to think about what to create, until Mr. Banana came to life!  Ha! I die-cut the banana using Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge, and I used the Billionaire Cricut Cartridge for the fancy hat, moustache and cane.  I really liked the way it turned out.

I created this card for my daughter, who plays high school basketball.  She loves the sport, and we always enjoy watching her play.  I no longer make her lunches, but I do plan to tuck this card in her gym bag, wishing her a great season!
