IBSIC #52

Hi Everyone,

It's been such a long time that I don't post anything on my blog!  Life got very busy, but I'm hoping things will get back on track very soon!

I found some time this week to create a card for this week's Inspired By Stamping Challenge #52.

IBSIC-#52

My card:

The base of the card is Crumb Cake, and the patterned papers are from Basic Grey's Marjolaine Paper Pad.  The pretty flowers are from the IBS Store called Daisies.  The daisy next to the sentiment is popped up with dimensionals.  The sentiment is also from the IBS Store, Fancy Sentiments.  I stamped the image and sentiment with Memento Nautical Blue ink.  I thought about coloring inside the petals, but at the last minute, I left them as is.  To finish off my card, I added a double bow.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Freshly Made Sketches #77

Happy Friday to all!

I'm heading out the door, but wanted to quickly submit my card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches.

My card:

The base is Whisper White and the patterned papers are from my stash.  The image and sentiment are from The Craft's Meow's Life is a Carnival.  This card is for my 13 year old daughter, who will be running the L.A. Marathon on Sunday.  We want her to hang in there during the 26 mile run, stay focus and enjoy the experience!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Freshly Made Sketches #76

Hello my friends,

Happy Saturday!  I created a card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches.  Linda has a fun sketch for us this week.

My card:

The base is Whisper White and the patterned papers are from SU! (a retired DSP, which I don't remember the name).  The Easter eggs are from SU! Easter Blossoms Stamp Set.  I stamped the images using Baja Breeze.  The sentiment is SU! Heaven Blessed.  This is one of my favorite Easter stamps sets.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I appreciate your sweet comments.

The Ribbon Reel Challenge #48

Hello my friends,

I want to thank the ladies over at The Ribbon Reel for choosing my card, from last week's challenge, as one of the "Top 3" - It really made my day!

Here is the sketch Helen has for us this week:

My card:

It's time to make Easter cards!  The base is Very Vanilla and I used some patterned paper from My Mind's Eye's Lost & Found.  For the paper on the left-hand side, I used the SU! En Francais and stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock using Baja Breeze ink.  The image is from SU! Easter Blossoms, stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink.  The die I used is Spellbinder Labels Eighteen.  A light baby blue double bow and a flower from K&Company was added to the card!  I finished it off with some pearls on the edge of the card and in the basket.

Thank you so much for stopping by,

Merry Monday #51

Hello my friends,

I haven't had the opportunity to play along with Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenges in a long time, so I decided to create a card and join in the fun!  This week, it's Tic Tac Toe:

I chose the combo Punches, Digital and Cute.  I was in the mood to make a fun card!

The base of the card is Real Red Cardstock, the next layer is Green Cardstock from DCWV and the patterned paper is from SU! Festival of Prints.  I purchased this adorable digital stamp from Sweet n' Sassy Stamps called Snow Much Love.  I colored the image with copic markers.  Using the Circle & Lacey Circle Spellbinders, I cut out a red circle and a green lacey circle to make the image stand out.  I embossed a piece of green cardstock, adhered red ribbon on top of it and added a pretty bow.  As a finishing touch, I punched out some branches using MS Branch Punch.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
