IBSIC #39 - Christmas Photo

Hi Everyone!

I'm here to share a card for this week's IBSIC - Christmas Photo.  We were asked to use Sage Green, Red and White/Cream:

IBSIC39

My card:

The card base is Whisper White, followed by Sage Green cardstock.  I wanted to keep my card clean and simple.  The pretty paper on top is from Recollections Home for the Holidays.  The red cardstock was embossed with SU Snow Burst (retired).  I stamped the beautiful ornament with Real Red ink and added some small rhinestones for some shine.  I couldn't resist not adding a bow.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Dynamic Duos #33

Hello my friends,

First off, I would like to thank Erna for choosing my card as one of the Dynamic Darlings from last week's challenge.  You can see my card HERE.

This week. it's all about Gold and Black with the Option of Music:

My card:

The card base is Very Vanilla, followed by pretty paper from Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium Collection.  SU! Stocking Builder Punch (retired) is by far my favorite punch!  The Music Paper is also from Graphic 45.  I added a strip of Gold ribbon across the back of the stockings.  3 Gold bows atop each stocking was the finishing touch.

This is the final challenge for 2012.  I would like to wish everyone over at Dynamic Duos Happy Holidays!

Thank you so much for stopping by,

Dynamic Duos #32 - Monochromatic Pinks

Hello my friends,

I was super excited this weekend when I saw my card, chosen by Christina, as one of the Dynamic Darlings for last week's card challenge!  Thank you, Christina!  You can see my card HERE.

This week, we were asked to use Pretty in Pink and Rose Red.  These colors are pefect for a Valentine's card, but I wanted to create another Christmas card.

My card:

The card base is Very Vanilla, followed by Rose Red cardstock.  The next layer is Pretty in Pink, which I embossed with the Snow Burst folder (retired).  I kept my card clean and simple.  The pretty Christmas tree is from SU Contempo Christmas Stamp Set and added small pink pearls.  The Rose Red cardstock is embossed with the Square Lattice Folder and I ran a Pretty in Pink ribbon over it and added a bow.  I wanted to use the Adorning Accents Edgelits, and I thought this was the perfect card for it!  For the final touch, I added pearls to each of the 4 corners.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Merry Monday Any Past Sketch Will Do! & The Play Date Cafe 'Color Splash' Challenge #159

Hello my friends.

Happy Tuesday!  I would like to thank Leslie and the design team members for choosing my card as the Top Pick!  I almost fell off my chair, I couldn't believe it!  You can see my card HERE.

Today, I created a card for this week's Merry Monday - Any Past Sketch Will Do!  I chose Challenge #33 Sketch:

I used the combo colors Black, White and a "Splash" of Maroon from The Play Date Cafe Challenge #159:

My card:

The card base is Very Vanilla, followed with Cherry Cobler and SU Festival of Prints.  The gorgeous Christmas Tree is from SU Snow Swirled Stamp Set.  I added some rhinestones to the tree and a thick black ribbon in the middle.  I also incorporated red ribbon and made a pretty bow on top.  The sentiment is from Just Rite Noel Christmas Ornaments.  This stamp set has 15 different sentiments. I love it!

Dynamic Duos #31

Hello my friends!

The weekend is almost over and is back to work tomorrow!  I'm here to share with you a card for this week's Dynamic Duos #31 Challenge.  We were asked to use Light Green and Red - Christmas colors!

My card:

The card base is Very Vanilla, followed by pretty Christmas paper from SU Scrapbook Kit (retired).  The bottom portion is also Very Vanilla embossed with Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder - my favorite for Christmas cards.  The Christmas ornament and sentiment is from Just Rite Noel Christmas Ornaments Stamp Set.  I stamped the ornament using Real Red ink and the sentiment in Certainly Celery ink, and used some dimensionals.  Lastly, I added a pretty red bow and two red rhinestones on the bottom of the card.
