Freshly Made Sketches #50

Hello my friends,

I am looking forward to the long weekend!  YAY!  I have a card for this week's
Freshly Made Sketches #50

My card:

I used La Creme Matstack for my layers and cut out the dress from a template I had.  I cut out 2 pleats using Laura Ashley Burgundy Vellum, and added a ribbon around the waist. I wanted to keep the dress simple, but elegant.  The sentiment is from SU Elementary Elegance and was stamped with SU Rich Razzleberry ink onto a creme color paper.  I used the 1 3/4 and the 1 1/2 circle punch for the sentiment.

Thanks so much for looking,

IBSIC #23

Hello my friends,

I'm back with a project for this week's Inspired by Stamping Inspiration Challenge #23,  This week, it's all about homemade and using Sage, Pink & Cream, so I decided to make something homemade!

Antique accessories 2

My project:

I've had this baby shoe template for awhile. so I decided to make some baby girl shoes.  They are fast and easy to assemble.  I  used some pink polka-dots paper and added a pretty sage color bow.  I also added a pearl on the side of the shoe.  You can fill these up with candy, and decorate your table for a baby shower!  My daughter lent me her doll, and said that it would look nice next to the shoes!

Freshly Made Sketch #49

Hello my friends,

I was able to create a card for this week's Freshly Made Sketch #49 challenge much earlier than usual! When I saw the sketch, different ideas were running through my head, until I decided on the theme: birthday.

My card:

I started out with SU Very Vanilla cardstock and used BoBunny Sweet Tooth polka-dots paper.  I think this paper screams ice cream! - what do you think?  I used Martha Stewart Drippy Goo Edge Punch for the brown and pink glitter paper, and taped the glitter brown on pink paper and glitter pink on brown paper.  I punched out 5 circles using the 3/4 circle punch.  I then adhered Wilton's Lollipop Sticks to create the yummy cake pops!  For the sentiment, I used Big Wishes by Inspired by Stamping, heat embossed the image with SU Melon Mambo Stampin Emboss Powder.  To add some color, I added some pretty aqua color ribbon, punched 2 small hot pink circles and added some bling!  I then decided to add some hot pink scalloped paper on the bottom as well!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

BSIC #22 ~ Sketch

Hello my friends,

My card today is for this week's Inspired by Stamping challenge #22.

IBSIC-#22

My card:

SU Very Vanilla was used as my card base, and leftover paper from my stash for the rest of the layers.  I really like Burgundy and Green colors together, so that was the direction I took!  :)  I used Inspired by Stamping Small Fancy Labels 18.  I heat embossed the outside image with Stampendous PEARLustre Rubellite Embossing Powder and SU Wild Wasabi stamp pad for the sentiment.  For the layers behind the sentiment,  I used Ovals and the Twisted Metal Tags and Accents Spellbinders.  I just noticed that the green paper to the left is a bit off! Oh well...I finished my card with some pretty lace and a double bow (thank you Joanna for your Whoo Hoo Wednesday Tutorial!), and of course, some bling.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Freshly Made Sketch #48

Hello my friends,

I'm here again with another card for Freshly Made Sketch #48 challenge.

My card:

When I saw this stamp called Frightening Feline in the SU Holiday Catalog, I knew I had to have it!  I love Halloween!  It's the beginning of changing my silk flowers to fall colors, baking, wearing my boots and scarves as I take walks in my neighborhood as my girls ride their bikes...

Back to my card.  I heat embossed the image with SU Gumball Green Emboss Powder (I really like this new color!) and gave the kitty a bow.  I'm not sure if you can see, but I used the SU Stripes Folder to emboss the black layer and the 3 bats.  The rest of the paper used is leftover from Halloween last year.   I cut the image out with Spellbinders Label Three Die.  It was the perfect fit!  Lastly, I added two orange brads to my card.  I really like the way it came out...I think I will use this card to make more!  :)

Thanks for looking!

My card:

This will be short and sweet, since I only have about 15 minutes to post this card for IBSIC.
The card base is SU Very Vanilla and the layers are SU Designer Series Paper Patterns.  I stamped and heat embossed (Melon Mambo) the Fabulous Floret flower. I used Label 18 and Classic Oval Small Spellbinder, added some bling and a bow.

Freshly Made Sketch #47

Happy Sunday Everyone!

My card today is for this week's Freshly Made Sketches #47.  Since my husband and I are invited to a wedding in October and another one in November, I decided to start making wedding cards!

My card:

My card base is SU Whisper White and the rest are from my stash.  I used the Circle and Lacey Circle Spellbinder for the bride and groom.  Not sure if you can see it, but with the Pearl Pen (cream color), I added little dots around the loops on the Lacy Circle .  I let this dry for about an hour before adding the white tulle for the veil.  I then colored with Copic Markers, and used Diamond Stickles for the dress.  It gave it a pretty shine. I wrapped a small piece of white tulle to the right hand side of the card.  Lastly, I added 2 little silver hearts with a tiny pearl in the middle of each one, and 2 pearls on the top.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

CR84FN60

Hello my friends,

I found this new card challenge over at CR84FN60 .  I really like the color combo!

My card:

The card base is SU Whisper White paper, the layer is SU Wild Wasabi, and the rest of paper is from my stash.  The little flowers are from the SU Tea Shoppe stamp set.  It was the only little flower that fit perfectly inside the postage stamp punch.  I colored them with copic markers, and added purple ribbon and some bling!

Thanks for looking.

Dynamic Duos #14-Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi (Orange and Green)

Hello my friends,

I found this new card challenge and decided to give it a try! It's the Dynamic Duos #14 challenge.  When I saw the colors, I immediately thought of Halloween, but after some thought, I decided to do something different.

My card:

I haven't used tags in awhile, so I decided that would be the focal point of my card.  I pulled out my SU Designer Series Paper Patterns (retired), and used Pumpkin Pie & Wild Wasabi paper.  I rounded the corners of the tags with the corner punch.  I criss-crossed the two tags, made a hole, inserted an eyelet using the Crop-A-Dile (which you can't see), and added a pretty orange bow.  The flower is from Inspired By Stamping Store called Daisies.  I stamped the flower on Memento Rich Cocoa ink, colored with Copic Markers (YR02, YR04 and YR07), and popped it up with foam mounts.  At the bottom of the card, I added a stripe of SU ribbon, and a piece of thin green paper that I ran through the crimper.  For the final touch, I added two green brads.

I hope you like it.  Thanks for looking!

Freshly Made Sketch #46

Happy my friends,

Today, I'm sharing a card I made for this week's Freshly Made Sketch #46.

Here is my card:

I used SU Whisper White for the card base and Teresa Collins' paper for the layers.  The stamp is from Inspired by Stamping store, called Cherish.  Spellbinders Labels One for the 2 layers, SU Whisper White and SU So Saffron.  I added little flowers to the tree using SU Itty Bitty Shapes Punch.  Using the Scallop Trim Border, I cut a strip of So Saffron and added brown ribbon to overlap it.  The sentiment is from SU Button Greeting (retired).  Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend!

La-La Land Christmas Card

Hello friends,

I want to share a card I made a couple of days ago.  When time permits, I like to practice coloring with my copic markers, and these La-La Land stamps are perfect!  I made this Christmas card for my daughter.  I always like to write a special note for each of my 2 girls, so of course, I need to create another card!  :)  I used SU! Top Note for the inside and outside layering.  I'm not sure if you can see it, but I added red stickles to her shoes.  Sorry, next time, I will write down the numbers before putting them away.
